COMMISSIONS & REFUNDS

Commissioning Custom Artwork

I accept commissions in a variety of mediums, including:
Acrylic · Watercolour · Oils · Pencil Sketch · Oil Pastels · Charcoal

How It Works:

  1. Source Photo:

    • I work from high-quality photographs. You’re welcome to provide your own, or I can arrange a photoshoot (additional fee may apply).

  2. Pricing & Quote:

    • Cost depends on size, medium, and complexity. Contact me with details for a personalized quote.

    • Rush fee: Standard turnaround is 3 weeks, but expedited work may incur an additional charge.

    • Larger/complex pieces require a longer timeline—we’ll agree on this up front.

  3. Deposit & Process:

    • A non-refundable deposit (30–50%) is required to begin for commissions where e.g. bespoke canvas is required, or where mounting/framing is envisaged.

  4. Revisions:

    • Minor adjustments are included (e.g., color tweaks, small details).

    • Major changes (e.g., recomposing the artwork) may incur an additional fee.

    • If you’re completely unsatisfied with the final piece, a full refund option is available (see Refunds Policy).

  5. Copyright & Usage:

    • I retain all copyrights to the artwork, including the right to display it in my portfolio.

    • You may reproduce the artwork for personal use (e.g., prints for your home, gifts).

    • Commercial use (selling prints, merchandise, etc.) requires a separate licence—contact me for details.

  6. Delivery:

    • Framing/mounting options available upon request.

    • Free local pickup or shipped worldwide (client covers shipping costs).

Refund Policy

1. Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit (30–50% of the total price) is required to secure your commission slot. This covers initial planning, materials, and time invested.

2. Revisions & Satisfaction Guarantee

  • I aim for your complete satisfaction! You may request reasonable revisions during the work-in-progress stage.

  • If the final artwork does not meet agreed-upon specifications (e.g., major deviations from the reference photo or description), you may choose:

    • Free corrections (if feasible).

    • A full refund (excluding deposit).

    • Partial refund (if you keep the artwork but are dissatisfied).

3. Cancellations

  • By the client: If you cancel after approval of the initial sketch/first draft, the deposit is forfeited.

  • By the artist: If I cannot complete your commission (e.g., due to illness or unforeseen circumstances), you’ll receive a full refund, including deposit.

4. Delivery & Damage

  • Once the artwork is shipped/delivered, refunds are only issued if it arrives damaged (must provide photo proof within 48 hours).

  • Clients are responsible for shipping insurance on high-value pieces.
